Tahitian Gardenia, or Tiare, absolute is EXTREMELY rare. The flower is beloved around the world in its more commonly recognized usage in Monoi de Tahiti - where the blossoms are used to infuse coconut oil with their sweet, hypnotic scent. At nearly $1,000 per ounce and very difficult to procure, this absolute is one of the most expensive and rare in my possession, hence the price for this one. It's sweet, but not cloying, and has a wonderful soft, clean, "green" note to it as well. It's truly drop-dead gorgeous! This was sourced from a very small artisan distillery in Tahiti.
