Sacred Isle.... "Ynys Avallach", or  "Isle of The Apples."   Shrouded in mist and mystery, the mythology surrounding the Isle of Avalon has always been a source of great fascination for me.

Comprised of 100% natural essential oils, absolutes, and essences, this scent embodies all of the aspects of Avalon for me.... verdant and dewy, dark and loamy, shrouded in mist and mystery, with whispers of sweet ancient resins in a charcoal brazier on the steps of a stone temple. It is complex, deep, rich, and earthy - and no blend inspired by Avalon would be complete, in my opinion, without a nod to the apple. A natural apple isolate brings a sweet but tart, ripe crispness to the blend.

This blend is hard to fully explain - while rich and earthy and anchored with what are traditionally considered very masculine components, the sweet feminine notes help keep it well within unisex territory in my opinion.

At the top is a complex accord of citrus notes that includes Bergamot, Red Mandarin, and Bitter Orange.  At the heart, you'll find Moroccan Rose, Arabian Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Apple, and Clove Absolute, all anchored securely by rich base notes including Honey, Opoponax, Oakmoss, Black Amber, Patchouli, and Black Agarwood.

In addition to being a beautiful natural perfume, this is a wonderful blend for anointing yourself prior to meditation or working with nature energies. It's earthy and grounding, but simultaneously ethereal and uplifting. I have a client who is also a dear friend that was the first to sample this scent. She used it to anoint herself with prior to working with nature spirit energies on a piece of land devoted to spiritual connectedness and felt it the perfect blend for such work. She loved it so much that she immediately purchased a full size bottle.

Please bear in mind that natural perfumes tend to not have the longevity that many of their synthetic counterparts will, and individual body chemistry can play a role in the "staying power" of a scent as well. As such, you may find it necessary to touch up your perfume a time or two throughout the day. This is perfectly normal and to be expected.
