Brides of Babylon.... inspired by the Edwin Long painting that was inspired by the tales of the Babylonian marriage market in Herodotus' "Histories". Young women were lined up and auctioned off as brides to both rich and poor men in the area then known as Babylon.
A host of heady floral notes including Arabian Jasmine, Honeysuckle, and Frangipani warmed by eastern spices, spiced black tea, Vanilla absolute, and buttery Tonka Bean. Grounded with notes of Patchouli and Vetiver, with faint wafts of incense snaking between the notes.
