First and foremost, right off the top, please believe me when I say that this one cannot be fully appreciated from the vial, you must experience it on the skin in order for it to unfold into its full potential. In the bottle/vial, it seems sharp, dry, and almost "thin". On the skin, it's just the opposite... rich, warm, and full. Trust me here! This is, hands down, one of my all-time personal favorites of all my creations. EVER.
To sum this scent up in one thought after it has had time to mellow on my skin - "chocolate incense". Yes. Chocolate incense. From the vial and at first application on the skin, this comes across dry and woody at the top, underscored with a rich, bitter chocolate note from the cacao absolute, but quickly dries down into a gorgeous mélange of creamy vanilla and caramel, which adds some sweetness and depth to the chocolate... all layered over the rich scent of dried tobacco leaf, smoky Haitian sandalwood, very understated patchouli, and an incense note that comes from the very finest Namibian myrrh. All of these wonderful essences are blended into a base oil I create by infusing it with cacao absolute and a few other "secret" ingredients for months on end in order to produce an even fuller, richer scent.
The overall effect is a very rich, warm, dark chocolate sort of incense on the skin. It is DECADENT!
The price is a little higher on this one than some of my other scents, this is a reflection of the expensive natural ingredients included here.
It mellows and deepens with age, only growing more beautiful in the bottle as time passes.

Be sure to give your bottle a little shake prior to applying, as some natural essences may settle in the bottle. This is perfectly normal.
