"If men had wings and bore black feathers, few of them would be clever enough to be crows." ~ Rev. Henry Ward Beecher
Corvus corax... Otherwise known as the "common" Raven, though I find nothing common about these fascinating avian wonders. Known to possess the greatest intellect to be found in any bird, and the cognitive capabilities of primates, they have forever held my rapt fascination.
I see them everywhere here - oftentimes when I step outside early in the morning as the sun is coming up to head to the garden I'm greeted by a chorus of hoarse croaks and "toc toc toc".
Good morning, sister Raven!
Tuberose, gardenia, and jasmine with rich, velvety smooth amber, sweet musk, and a whisper of sandalwood, oakmoss, and patchouli. The patchouli is very understated, much more a rounding note in this application to add some body without a predominant patchouli note detectable to the nose. This one is decidedly feminine, with heady florals at the top and and a sweet and somewhat powdery drydown from the amber and musk, as that is how I always envision the Raven - a feminine aspect, probably from the The Morrigan connection for me.
Blended in a base of fractionated coconut oil and presented to you in your choice of an 8ml or 15ml rectangular glass bottle with roll on cap, it will arrive suitably packaged for gifting in a gorgeous embossed gift box tied with ribbon. Perfect for gifting someone else or simply for treating yourself to something fun and unique.
I can’t believe CC hasn’t any reviews. One of the most intensely floral frags I’ve ever used, very natural tuberose and gardenia. Heady and bewitching, men love this. Spring/summer in a bottle.
